Kirsten Dunst to Star in Action Epic 'Civil War' at A24

Kirsten Dunst is taking on a new role!

According to Deadline, the actress has signed on to star in a new film from director Alex Garland titled Civil War.

The cast also includes Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Cailee Spaeny .

While plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is being described as an “action epic” set in “near-future America.”

It will be produced by A24 and in addition to directing, Alex also wrote the screenplay.

He previously worked with the studio on his Oscar nominated movie Ex Machina as well as Men, a horror movie starring Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear set to be released later this year. He’s also known for 2018′s Annihilation and the sci-fi FX series Devs.
