Zac Efron Is In For 'Easy Money'

Zac Efron is going to star in and produce a remake of the Swedish thriller Snabba Cash (Easy Money) for Warner Bros.

The 22-year-old actor is going to play, “a financial wizard who hopes to strike it rich quickly by creating money laundering schemes for a drug syndicate,” according to THR. Snabba Cash is based on a novel by Jens Lapidus, was a major hit in its home country this year. The film follows three interconnected storylines involving drugs and organized crime.

Warner’s announced on Wednesday it had won the bid for the remake rights.
