Dakota Fanning keeps her head down as she strolls through the Beverly Hills neighborhood on Saturday (June 16) in California.

The 18-year-old actress sported a pair of star-print jeans as she ran some errands.

Dakota is getting ready to start work on her new film, Very Good Girls.

The Naomi Foner-directed drama follows two New York City friends that make a pact to lose their virginity during their first summer out of high school, but when they fall for the same guy, their friendship is tested for the first time. The flick, also starring Elizabeth Olsen and Demi Moore, is set to hit theaters next year.

Last week, Dakota attended the 2012 AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony honoring Shirley MacLaine.
