Matthew McConaughey Takes 'Sea of Trees' Role Following Oscar Nomination!

Matthew McConaughey is sophisticated in a pair of eyeglasses while making a final appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday (February 4) in Burbank, Calif.

The 44-year-old actor was on the show to chat about his Oscar nominated role in his highly acclaimed film Dallas Buyers Club, which is now available on DVD!

It was just announced that Matthew will star in the Gus Van Sant directed flick Sea of Trees, which is his first role since being nominated for an Oscar.

Sea of Trees revolves around “an American man (McConaughey) and a Japanese man (Ken Watanabe) who meet in the Japan’s infamous “Suicide Forest,” where people go to commit suicide. But instead of killing themselves, the duo embark on a reflective journey through the forest together.”
