Emmanuelle Riva Wins Best Actress at BAFTAs 2013!

Emmanuelle Riva has won a very coveted prize at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 85-year-old French actress took home the Best Actress award for her portrayal of Anne Laurent in Amour.

Emmanuelle went up against Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, and Helen Mirren for the trophy.

Congratulations, Emmanuelle!!

Other winner’s for the evening included Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis, Ben Affleck for Best Director, and Argo for Best Film.

BAFTAs Winners List 2013 - 'Argo' Picks Up Best Film!

It was a night full of excellence in film at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The award for Best Film went to Argo, which also received the award for Best Director for its helmer Ben Affleck. The flick also won Best Editing.

Amour‘s Emmanuelle Riva pulled off a surprise to win the award for Best Leading Actress and Daniel Day-Lewis picked up Best Leading Actor for his work in Lincoln.

Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for Les Miserables and Christoph Waltz was awarded Best Supporting Actor for Django Unchained.

Gemma Arterton & Olga Kurylenko - BAFTAs 2013 Red Carpet

Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko arrive on the red carpet at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

Gemma looked radiant in a velvet Celia Kritharioti dress while Olga stunned in a Nina Ricci gown, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and De Beers jewelry.

The night before, Gemma and Olga attended the Charles Finch & Chanel’s Pre-BAFTA Dinner with other stars, including Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, and Thandie Newton.

Elizabeth Olsen - BAFTAs 2013 Red Carpet

Elizabeth Olsen is a beauty in black and white on the red carpet at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 23-year-old actress was nominated for the EE Rising Star Award that evening against Juno Temple, Alicia Vikander, Andrea Riseborough, and Suraj Sharma.

The award, which was voted for by the public, went to Juno.

Last week, Lizzie supported her stylist Cher Coulter at the launch of her new clothing collection.

Anne Hathaway Wins Best Supporting Actress at BAFTAs 2013

Anne Hathwaway holds her trophy with pride in the press room at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 30-year-old actress won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work as Fantine is Les Miserables. Congrats, Anne!!!

Anne was up against The Master‘s Amy Adams, The SessionsHelen Hunt, Skyfall‘s Judi Dench, and Lincoln‘s Sally Field.

Christoph Waltz Wins Best Supporting Actor at BAFTAs 2013!

Christoph Waltz shows off his trophy in the press room at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 56-year-old actor picked up the award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the film Django Unchained.

Quentin Tarantino picked up the award for Best Original Screenplay that evening for the hit movie. Jennifer Lawrence presented the award to him.

Samuel L. Jackson was also in attendance at the show.

Bradley Cooper - BAFTAs 2013 Red Carpet

Bradley Cooper braves the rainy weather while hitting the red carpet at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 38-year-old actor is nominated for Best Leading Actor for his work in Silver Linings Playbook, which already picked up the award for Best Adapted Screenplay!

During the show, Bradley, who wore a Ferragamo suit, joined his fellow nominee Ben Affleck to present the award for Best British Film to Skyfall.

Bradley‘s co-star Chris Tucker was also spotted attending the show.
