The 68-year-old actress was in attendance with her husband Taylor Hackford, who is the former president of the DGA!

Tom Hanks hit the stage during the show to honor his Captain Phillips director Paul Greengrass with a nominee medallion for being one of the five nominees for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film award.

The 41-year-old actor presented the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film, which he won last year for his work on Argo.

It was a night to celebrate the best work by the directors in Hollywood at the 2014 Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 25) in Century City, Calif.

The big winner of the night was Alfonso Cuaron for his groundbreaking work on his movie Gravity.

The five nominees in the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Motion Pictures category were Alfonso, Paul Greengrass for Captain Phillips, Steve McQueen for 12 Years a Slave, David O. Russell for American Hustle, and Martin Scorsese for The Wolf of Wall Street.

Awards were also handed out for documentary filmmakers and the directors of various television genres.

The 39-year-old actor attended the show to present a nominee medallion to Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film nominee David O. Russell for the film American Hustle.

The 36-year-old pregnant actress was in attendance at the show to present the Diversity Award to her Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes and executive producer Betsy Beers!
