The 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards have set a new live air date!

The show, which was set to air live on CBS on Sunday, April 5 from Las Vegas, was postponed last week amid the ongoing global health crisis.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards are now set to officially air live on September 16 at 8pm ET.

The ceremony, which will be hosted by 15-time ACM Award winner Keith Urban, will air on CBS, stream live and will be available on-demand on CBS All Access. Additional details about this year’s ceremony including venue and performers will be announced at a later date, according to Deadline.

The 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards is being postponed.

The show, which was set to air live on CBS on Sunday, April 5 from Las Vegas, is being postponed and will be rescheduled for a still-to-be determined date sometime in September, producers confirmed on Sunday (March 15).

“The ACM Awards® is a tentpole event for our Country Music industry, and the Academy of Country Music® and dick clark productions went to great lengths to find a safe solution for the show to go on so that we can honor our artist community. This decision involved many partners, stakeholders and the industry who we have been in constant conversations with over the past several days as the situation has developed. We look forward to identifying a future date that we can celebrate with our Country community safely,” said Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music.

The first round of performers at the upcoming 2020 ACM Awards have been revealed!

It has been announced that host and nominee Keith Urban will be taking the stage for a performance during country music’s big night.

Miranda Lambert will also be performing along with several nominated singers.

The 2020 ACM Awards are set to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 5 on CBS. Be sure to tune in!

The 2020 ACM Awards are coming up soon and the full list of nominations has been released!

It was also just revealed that Keith Urban will be hosting the annual show!
