Sarah Jessica Parker hits the red carpet at the after party following the opening night of her off-Broadway play The Commons of Pensacola on Thursday (November 21) at Brasserie 8 1/2 in New York City.

The 48-year-old actress was joined at the event by her husband Matthew Broderick, her co-star Blythe Danner, and the play’s writer Amanda Peet.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-star Blythe Danner take their curtain call bows after a performance of their new off-Broadway play The Commons of Pensacola on Sunday (November 10) at the Manhattan Theater Club in New York City.

The play was written by Amanda Peet and here is the synopsis: Judith (Danner) has been divested of her assets and forced to leave her luxurious New York life after her husband’s Wall Street scam became headline news. When her daughter Becca (Parker) and Becca’s filmmaker boyfriend pay Judith a visit to the one bedroom condo Judith now occupies in Pensacola, Florida, everyone’s motives are called into question.

Sarah Jessica Parker attends a cast photo call for her upcoming Off-Broadway show The Commons of Pensacola on Wednesday afternoon (September 25) at the Manhattan Theatre Club Rehearsal Studios in New York City.

The 48-year-old actress was joined at the photo call by co-star Blythe Danner, as well as Amanda Peet, who wrote the play.

It was just announced that the 48-year-old actress will be making her return to the stage this Fall in a new play written by actress Amanda Peet!

SJP will star alongside Blythe Danner as a mother-daughter duo in The Commons of Penascola, which is about trying to love your family even when you hate what they’ve done.

The play will begin performances off-Broadway at Manhattan Theater Club’s New York City Center – Stage 1 on October 22.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival Awards Ceremony on Thursday (April 25) at the Conrad in New York City.

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson meet up with political activist Elie Wiesel at the 2012 Arts for Humanity Gala held at the New York Public Library on Wednesday (October 17) in New York City.

The 56-year-old actor was honored by The Elie Wiesel Foundation at the event and joked that he still had some overdue books from 1977 that he needed to turn in to the library.

Tom‘s son Colin Hanks, Blythe Danner, and Christiane Amanpour also attended the event.
