The ladies are hard at work on Book Club 2!

Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, and Candice Bergen hopped off of a police helicopter in the middle of a field while filming a few scenes for their upcoming movie on Tuesday afternoon (July 5) in Rome, Italy.

Also joining the ladies on set was Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini, who was seen wearing a police uniform while escorting the women off the helicopter.

The sequel to the 2018 movie follows “our four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.”

Just a few weeks ago, Jane and the rest of the ladies were spotted filming a wedding scene.

Jane Fonda and Don Johnson are married… in Book Club 2!

The co-stars were spotted filming a wedding scene for their upcoming movie on Thursday (June 23) in the Castello Della Castelluccia outside of Rome, Italy.

Also spotted on set were Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Andy Garcia, and Craig T. Nelson.

The sequel follows “our four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.”

We already knew that Jane‘s character was getting married as she was previously seen wearing a “Bride to Be” sash and veil while filming a different scene.

The ladies of Book Club 2 are on the movie!

Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen were all smiles as the rolled their suitcases into the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport for an afternoon of filming their new movie on Saturday (June 11) in Rome, Italy.

In between scenes, the ladies were seen chatting with crew members and getting their makeup touched up.

Last week, Jane, 84, was seen wearing a “Bride-to-Be” sash and veil as she and the other ladies filmed around Rome.

According to People, the Book Club sequel will find the four ladies taking their book club to Italy for a fun girls trip that ends up becoming a cross-country adventure. The first movie came out back in 2018.

The 84-year-old Grace & Frankie star and the 76-year-old Baby Boom actress were seen filming for Book Club 2: The Next Chapter in Rome, Italy on Wednesday (June 1).

The pair were joined by co-stars Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen as they walked around the city. Jane was seen wearing a “Bride to Be” sash and veil for her scenes.

According to People, the sequel will find the four ladies taking their book club to Italy for a fun girls trip that ends up becoming a cross-country adventure.

Opening night has arrived for Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga‘s Broadway production of Macbeth!

The 54-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress walked the red carpet together at the opening night performance of the play on Thursday (April 28) at the Longacre Theatre in New York City.

Billions‘ Asia Kate Dillon co-stars in the production and they were seen on the red carpet too!

Some of the celebs who attended the opening included Oscar Isaac and wife Elvira Lind, Bryan Cranston, Candice Bergen, Jeremy Strong, Danai Gurira, and Real Housewives‘ Kandi Burress.

Daniel is back on stage after performances of Macbeth were canceled due to him testing positive for COVID-19.

A tale of malice, matrimony and murder, Macbeth tells the story of one couple’s obsession with power—and their guilt after doing the unthinkable. Ruth is making her Broadway debut in the role of Lady Macbeth while Daniel is returning to the stage as the title character.

The limited engagement is running through July 10.

ABC has announced a ton of actors who will be guest starring on The Conners!

The network announced on Tuesday (March 30) that Brian Austin Green, Candice Bergen, and Danielle Harris will be appearing in upcoming episodes of the hit sitcom, The Wrap reports.

If fans remember, Danielle appeared in the fifth season of Roseanne back in 1993 as Molly Tilden, who lived next door to the Conners and was a high school rival for David’s (Johnny Galecki) affection.

Danielle will be returning for the episode airing on April 7 where, 30 years after they were first enemies, becomes close with Darlene (Sara Gilbert).

Earlier this season, Candice made her debut on The Conners as Ben’s (Jay R. Ferguson) mother, Barb. She will be returning for two episodes later in the season.

This will be Brian‘s first time on the show. He will be appearing in two episodes as Jeff, a “quirky, free spirit traveler who lives out of his van.”

If you missed it, Brian and his new girlfriend made their red carpet debut as a couple!

The Conners air on Wednesday nights at 9pm ET on ABC.
