Amanda Knox is expecting baby No. 2!
The 36-year-old activist announced that she is pregnant with her second child with husband Christopher Robinson.
The couple married in 2020 and welcomed their first-born, a daughter named Eureka Muse Knox-Robinson, in August 2021.
Amanda took to Instagram to post the news and show off her baby bump, captioning the photo, “Pregspreading”.
Amanda was the subject of a high-profile criminal trial when she and her Italian then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted, and later acquitted, of killing Amanda‘s roommate, Meredith Kercher, while studying abroad in Italy in 2007.
Sentenced in 2009, Amanda and Raffaele spent four years in an Italian prison before their convictions were overturned in 2015.
Amanda has notably valued her privacy and kept her daughter out of the spotlight.
She wrote in a 2021 Instagram post, “Since my exoneration, I’ve struggled to reclaim my identity and protect the people I love from being exploited as tabloid content. It’s not easy, and I often feel like I’m trying to invent good choices out of bad whole cloth.”
