Mary J. Blige and Hong Chau both look stunning at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

The two were both nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role: Mary for her role as Florence Jackson in Mudbound and Hong for her role as Ngoc Lan Tran in Downsizing. Mary also presented during the show.

Lady Bird nominees Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf were in attendance at Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Award Nominees Celebration held at the Chateau Marmont on Sunday (January 20) in Los Angeles.

Downsizing‘s Hong Chau, who is also nominated for an award this evening at the SAG Awards, was also in attendance, as well as Saoirse and Laurie‘s co-star Beanie Feldstein.

Mary and Hong both wore black in solidarity with the Time’s Up initiative, which aims to combat power abuse, gender inequality and harassment.

Laura Dern, Kristen Wiig, and Hong Chau premiered their new movie Downsizing in Los Angeles!

The actresses joined forces at the Regency Village Theatre on Monday (December 18) in Westwood.

Laura rocked a black and grey dress with matching lace-up boots, Kristen sported a one-shoulder black and white gown, and Hong sparkled in a long-sleeve silver sequin dress.

They were joined by their co-stars Christoph Waltz, James Van Der Beek, Niecy Nash, Udo Kier, Paul Mabon, Margareta Pettersson, Kerri Kenney, Ingjerd Egeberg, Tim Driscoll, and director Alexander Payne.

Virginia Madsen, Melissa Bolona, Joe P. Harris also stepped out to show their support.

Downsizing – also starring Matt Damon – is a social satire in which a guy realizes he would have a better life if he were to shrink himself.

Neil Patrick Harris and Matt Damon suited up for a screening of their new movie Downsizing!

The 44-year-old A Series of Unfortunate Events actor and the 47-year-old Jason Bourne star hit the red carpet at the event held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday night (December 11) in New York City.

Neil went for a grey and black look, while Matt opted for a blue suit with a tie.

They were joined by their co-star Hong Chau, who stunned in a black and white polka-dot dress, white accessories, and red lipstick.

Downsizing is a social satire in which a guy realizes he would have a better life if he were to shrink himself.

“It’s unlike any other movie I’ve ever seen, and that’s why I love it so much,” Matt told Parade. “I guess I’d say it’s a satire. It takes such a crazy left turn in the middle, and I really love that. I read something someone wrote about it the other day, which said something like, ‘I’ll give you a million dollars if, at the start of the movie, you can tell me where it’s gonna end.’”
