Robert Downey Jr. wears two different outfits while entering and exiting the studio for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday evening (October 7) in New York City.

The 49-year-old actor appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that same day and seemingly confirmed that an Iron Man 4 movie would happen, but then denied it during his night show appearance.

“There [are] no plans for an Iron Man 4,” Robert said. When asked why not, he said “that is a valid question. Like it hasn’t made enough money? Yeah, I guess they have too much money or something. There is no script for Iron Man 4, but I think there’s a plan.”

Later when asked again if the movie would happen he said, “just between us, no. But, I’m going to do other stuff with Marvel. I’m still going to be involved with Marvel and there’s going to be plenty of fun stuff to happen.”

Robert Downey, Jr. makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today on NBC, where he confirms a fourth Iron Man movie is happening!

“I know there’s going to be a bunch more Marvel movies and they have big ideas of how to do it best. You know we’re in the middle of negotiations…,” the 49-year-old actor told Ellen, and when she questioned him further about it happening, he confirmed it!

Robert, who is starring in this Fall’s The Judge, also spoke about having a little baby girl on the way! Click inside the cut to check out that video.

Gwyneth Paltrow keeps it floral while attending the premiere of her new flick Iron Man 3 held at the Grand Rex on Sunday (April 14) in Paris, France.

The 40-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her dapper co-star Robert Downey, Jr.

Earlier in the day, Robert and his wife Susan Downey grabbed lunch at Ralphs and signed autographs for fans while heading back to their hotel at the Park Hyatt.

The 40-year-old actress and 47-year-old actor were joined on the poster by Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), and the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley).
