Kristoffer Polaha is set to star opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in CBS’ new pilot, Ringer!

The 34-year-old actor was most recently seen in Life Unexpected, which still hasn’t officially been canceled yet.

Here’s TVLine‘s synopsis of the show: “Gellar stars as Bridget, a troubled young woman who, while on the run from the mob, hides out by inhabiting the life of her rich wealthy twin sister, Siobhan. The twist? There’s a bounty on her sis’ head, too!

“Polaha plays Henry, the out-of-work husband of Siobhan’s BFF (Tara Summers) who also happens to be having an affair with Siobhan. Unaware that Bridget has taken over Siobhan’s identity, Henry becomes hurt and confused by her lukewarm behavior and demands that she choose between him and her husband Andrew (Fantastic Four‘s Ioan Gruffudd).”

Kristoffer Polaha and his wife have welcomed their third child!

The 33-year-old Life Unexpected actor and his wife, actress Julianne Morris, became the proud parents of a newborn baby boy on Sunday morning (January 2).

Kris and Julianne‘s newborn will join big brothers Caleb, 6, and Michah, 4.

Kris and Julianne tied the knot back in 2003.

E! Online was the first to report the happy news.

Shiri Appleby joins her Life Unexpected co-stars Austin Basis, Kerr Smith and Kristoffer Polaha at the CW Upfronts held at NYC’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday (May 20).

The cast attended the CW after-party held at Abe & Arthur’s, dinner at Gemma restaurant and then drinks at the Bowey Hotel.

Life Unexpected will air @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW after One Tree Hill. Heading into next season, unlikely threesome Cate, Baze and Lux become a foursome as Ryan joins the family.

Kristoffer Polaha is opening up to JustJared.com in an exclusive interview about his series Life Unexpected!

JJ: Could you tell us about your character, Nate (aka Baze)?

KP: He goes by the name of Nate, he owns a bar that he lives above and he sort of is a ne’er-do-well who refuses to grow up, I suppose, until he is confronted with his 15-year-old daughter who he had with own Portland’s own Cate Cassidy and he sort of, without a moment of hesitation, decides to try to be a father figure to this kid and hijinks ensue. Hijinks and high drama!

JJ: What’s your favorite prop from the set?

KP: (laughs) The prop that’s gotten the most use and that we’ve talked about the most is a bong lamp – it’s a lamp that my character had as a college student, let’s say, and then they turned it into a lamp. He gifts it to Lux and you’ll see it in the episode as it unfolds – but I would have to say that that’s probably my favorite prop!
