Kevin Bacon flashes a smile alongside his wife Kyra Sedgwick while attending a special screening of their upcoming film Story Of A Girl held at Neuehouse on Monday (July 17) in New York City.

The 59-year-old actor and the 51-year-old actress, who also directed the flick, was joined at the event by their 28-year-old son Travis Bacon, and co-star Ryann Shane.

Based on Sara Zarr‘s young-adult novel, “Story of a Girl” stars Ryann as Deanna, a 16-year-old girl still dealing with the fallout from a sex video that went viral three years earlier. Branded the school slut and at odds with her disapproving father (Kevin), she longs to move on from her past mistakes but finds it hard to do so in the digital age.

“I had asked Kevin to play Michael years ago because I knew he would be brilliant, but selfishly I also thought he’d help with the financing,” Kyra recently admitted. Kevin adding, “good director-actor relationship is a collaboration and a partnership, and we collaborate really well. And we’ve had a partnership for a long time.”

Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick couldn’t stop smiling at the world premiere of their film Story of a Girl!

The 58-year-old actor and the 51-year-old actress hit the red carpet during the 2017 Edinburgh International Film Festival held at Cineworld on Thursday evening (June 22) in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The coming-of-age drama, starring Kevin, marks Kyra‘s directorial debut. It also stars their 25-year-old daughter Sosie Bacon!

“I think the overwhelming feeling about wanting to make this film is, I want to talk about how f–king hard it is to be a girl and a woman, because it’s really, really hard,” Kyra told Elle. “I think it’s more confusing than being a man at this point, although I know that boys have it hard too.”

Here’s the synopsis: When a compromising video of 16-year-old Deanna Lambert hits social media, her teenage life is changed forever. Overcoming bullies, hurtful school-yard taunts and the enduring rage and disappointment of her father, Deanna longs to escape a life defined by her past.

Lea Michele joins tons of stars as they bring their new shows to the 2017 ABC Upfronts on Tuesday night (May 16) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress was joined at the event by her The Mayor co-stars Bernard David Jones, Brandon Micheal Hall, Yvette Nicole Brown and Marcel Spears along with show creator Hamilton‘s Daveed Diggs.

Jenna Fischer coupled up with her Splitting Up Together co-star Oliver Hudson as Zach Braff brought his new show Alex, Inc. to the Upfronts as well.

Jack Cutmore-Scott and his co-star Ilfenesh Hadera brought their new show Deception to the event as Ten Days in the Valley star Kyra Sedgwick looked pretty in a pink dress.

Steve Zahn and Natalie Martinez brought their new show The Crossing to the event while Jason Ritter represented his show The Gospel of Kevin.

Matthew Broderick and Kyra Sedgwick just awkwardly confirmed they dated in high school!

The 54-year-old actor and 51-year-old actress both attended New York City’s Walden School back in the day, and while on Watch What Happens Live! together, Andy Cohen had them play the game “High School Who-perlatives.”

After the game, Andy asked if they dated.

“I kinda think maybe a little,” Kyra said. “I didn’t know if it was OK to say that,” Matthew said.

“Yeah, no, me neither, but we’re married so long. We’re so boring! We need this. This is good for our careers!” Kyra joked. “We kind of went back and forth a lot … for a few years!”

Now, Matthew is married to Sarah Jessica Parker (they married in 1997) and Kyra is married to Kevin Bacon (they married in 1988).

Hailee Steinfeld wows on the red carpet in a cool dress at the premiere of her new film, The Edge of Seventeen at Regal LA Live Stadium 14 in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (November 9).

The actress joined her co-stars Haley Lu Richardson, Hayden Szeto, Blake Jenner, Kelly Fremon Craig, and Kyra Sedgwick as well as all the publicists, photographers and reporters on the red carpet in doing the Mannequin Challenge there.

Hailee Steinfeld looks lovely in a lacy look for the photo call for The Edge of Seventeen held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday (October 29) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 19-year-old actress joined her co-stars Haley Lu Richardson, Kyra Sedgwick, Hayden Szeto and Blake Jenner for the event.

The Edge of Seventeen centers on Nadine (Steinfeld), who is already at peak awkwardness when her all-star older brother Darian (Jenner) starts dating her best friend Krista (Richardson).

Matthew McConaughey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw arrive backstage at CinemaCon on Tuesday (April 12) at The Colosseum of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The 46-year-old actor and his 32-year-old co-star attended the event to discuss their new Civil War movie Free State of Jones.

Matthew spoke to ET Canada backstage and said the film is a “rebellion story” that doesn’t romanticize history.
