The Lincoln Lawyer has found a new home on Netflix!

The streaming service just announced that the series, from David E. Kelley, will star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in the role of Mickey Haller.

If you’re unfamiliar, The Lincoln Lawyer is based on Michael Connelly‘s novel series and the first season of the show will be based on the second book, “The Brass Verdict”.

Here’s the summary: Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.

“Manuel is the ideal Mickey Haller, as Haller follows in the footsteps of his attorney father with the showmanship of his Mexican movie star mother,” Michael shared in a statement from Netflix. “Manuel brings a powerful dynamic and dimension to the role – one that aligns with the books and will give the show the opportunity to celebrate the Latinx heritage and roots of this Los Angeles-based story.”

Josh Gad and Kenneth Branagh keep it dapper in their suits as they join their co-stars at a special photo call for their anticipated film Murder on the Orient Express held at St Pancras Station on Thursday (November 2) in London, England.

The 36-year-old actor and Kenneth, 56, were joined by their fellow castmates Tom Bateman, Leslie Odom Jr., Sergei Polunin and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as they promoted the flick.

Also directed by Kenneth himself, from the novel by best selling author Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. Rachel McAdams is all smiles while making her way inside the premiere of Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience held at the California Science Center on Wednesday (September 28) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress was joined at the event by Brittany Snow, Ashley Greene, Bérénice Marlohe, Cassie Scerbo, Beau Bridges and his son Jordan, Ryan Rottman and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

The highly anticipated new film The Magnificent Seven is in theaters now and it is expected to top the box office this weekend!

The movie stars Chris Pratt, Denzel Washington, Haley Bennett, and a great cast of other actors. It follows seven gun men in the old west who gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves.

“Chris is great,” Denzel said in an interview with ABC. “I can see why he’s so popular. There’s another actor that I worked with, whatever, 20 years ago, by the name of Hanks who had that same quality about them, that you just really like them — aside from their obvious talent, they’re good people and it comes across on screen.”
