Jennifer Lopez is back with another romantic comedy in the debut trailer for Marry Me, also starring Maluma in his feature film debut, as well as Owen Wilson!
Here’s a synopsis of the film: Kat Valdez (Lopez) is half of the sexiest celebrity power couple on Earth with hot new music supernova Bastian (Maluma). As Kat and Bastian’s inescapable hit single, “Marry Me,” climbs the charts, they are about to be wed before an audience of their fans in a ceremony that will be streamed across multiple platforms.
Divorced high-school math teacher Charlie Gilbert (Wilson) has been dragged to the concert by his daughter Lou (Chloe Coleman) and his best friend (Sarah Silverman). When Kat learns, seconds before the ceremony, that Bastian has cheated on her with her assistant, her life turns left as she has a meltdown on stage, questioning love, truth and loyalty. As her gossamer world falls away, she locks eyes with a stranger—a face in the crowd. If what you know lets you down, then perhaps what you don’t know is the answer, and so, in a moment of inspired insanity, Kat chooses to marry Charlie. What begins as an impulsive reaction evolves into an unexpected romance. But as forces conspire to separate them, the universal question arises: Can two people from such different worlds bridge the gulf between them and build a place where they both belong?
The movie is in theaters on Valentine’s Day.

The romantic comedy was originally scheduled to be released in theaters this weekend, but then it was pushed to May 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, Universal Pictures has made the decision to push the film to February 11, 2022, which means it will be in theaters for Valentine’s Day weekend.
The movie follows two music superstars, played by JLo and Maluma, who are getting married in front of an audience of fans. When she learns just seconds before her vows that he has been unfaithful, she decides to marry a random stranger in the crowd, played by Owen Wilson.
Kat Coiro directed the film and it will feature original music from both singers.

Jennifer Lopez‘s new movie is going to come out later than anticipated.
Marry Me, her rom-com featuring Owen Wilson, Maluma, Sarah Silverman, Jameela Jamil and Jimmy Fallon, is now coming out on May 14, 2021 amid the pandemic, Variety reported Tuesday (November 10).

The movie was originally scheduled to be released on February 12, 2021, which was originally when Universal and DreamWorks planned to release Spirit Untamed. That movie was moved to June 4.
Here’s a plot summary: “Lopez portrays a music superstar who marries a complete stranger (Owen Wilson) during one of her concerts after finding out her partner (played by Latin musician Maluma) is cheating on her.”
