Nicholas Galitzine opened up in a revealing interview with Variety.

The 29-year-old The Idea of You actor sat down for a conversation for the Just for Variety podcast. During it, he opened up about the popular stars who inspired him as he filmed his forthcoming movie alongside Anne Hathaway.

The list includes Tom Cruise, who Nicholas was inspired by for one specific scene.

Nicholas also addressed the rumor that he was up for a key role in a forthcoming Marvel movie and reflected on his steamy sex scenes in his new series Mary & George.

He even spilled on an audition with a beloved director that did not go according to plan.

Nicholas Galitzine opened up about playing queer characters as a straight actor.

The 29-year-old most recently shot steamy love scenes for Mary & George, a historical miniseries about George Villiers’ affair with King James.

Previously, he played Prince Henry, a gay royal who falls in love with the first son of the United States, in 2023′s Red, White & Royal Blue. He was also cast as a gay character in Handsome Devil.

During a recent interview, Nicholas reflected on having the support of the LGBTQ+ community and what drew him to the roles.
