Olivia DeJonge adds some sparkle to the premiere of her new movie, Elvis, held at the TIFF Bell Lightbox Theater in Toronto, Canada on Friday (June 17).

The 24-year-old actress walked the red carpet with co-star Austin Butler and the film’s director, Baz Luhrmann.

In a new interview, Olivia opened up about playing Priscilla Presley on the big screen.

“Priscilla has this effortless vulnerability and this effortless softness about her,” she told WWD. “Prior to the job, I was quite — not brash, brash isn’t the right word, but maybe a little flighty and a little skittish. I’m somebody who was sort of bouncing around.”

Olivia added that she kept a journal with photos and old magazine clippings of Priscilla‘s style in that era.

“Maybe it sounds a bit lame, but part of that process was making collages and sticking them in journals, just looking at the images and really familiarizing myself with the way that she held herself and how she presented herself to the world.”

Elvis opens in theaters on June 24.

Austin Butler has the support of his girlfriend Kaia Gerber while promoting his new movie Elvis!

The cute couple was seen holding hands while leaving a screening of the film on Wednesday night (June 15) at Hudson Yards in New York City.

Also seen attending the event were Austin‘s co-stars Tom Hanks (with wife Rita Wilson) and Olivia DeJonge.

Austin and Kaia still have been keeping a low profile on their relationship, but they’ve been spotted sharing some PDA at various events during the last month. At point on the red carpet at Elvis‘ Cannes premiere, they were seen sharing a passionate kiss and they posed together at the Met Gala one month ago.

Three generations of Presley women made a rare appearance together to promote the new movie Elvis!

Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, and Riley Keough were in attendance at the film’s latest premiere on Saturday (June 11) at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn.

In attendance at the event were cast members Austin Butler, Tom Hanks (with wife Rita Wilson), Olivia DeJonge, Alton Mason, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Yola, as well as director Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin, who is the film’s costume designer.

Riley wrote on Instagram, “We’re so thrilled to be in Memphis with @elvismovie and with all of the wonderful performers, @austinbutler @olivia_dejonge @kelvharrjr and Tom Hanks have all done outstanding work. Thank you to @bazluhrmann for bringing the film to Graceland. It’s been such a special weekend, I couldn’t think of a better place to Premiere ELVIS in America.”

Austin Butler and Olivia DeJonge strike a pose at the premiere of their new film Elvis at the Event Cinemas Pacific Fair in Gold Coast, Australia on Saturday (June 4).

The pair hit the red carpet alongside their co-star Tom Hanks, as well as director Baz Luhrmann.

In the film, Austin stars Elvis while Tom portrays his longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker. Olivia plays a young Priscilla Presley.

Austin Butler and Tom Hanks suit up sharp for the premiere of their new film, Elvis, held at BFI Southbank on Tuesday night (May 31) in London, England.

The two stars met up with Olivia DeJonge, Yola and Luke Bracey on the red carpet, as well as director of the film, Baz Luhrmann.

Austin and Tom portray the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and his longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker, while Olivia takes on the role of a young Priscilla Presley.

In addition, Luke will play Elvis‘ other manager, Jerry Schilling and Yola is Sister Rosetta Tharpe, who inspired a lot of Elvis‘ music stylings.

Elvis will be released in theaters next month on June 24.

The stars of the new movie Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, stepped out for a press conference and photo call at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

Tom Hanks, Austin Butler, Olivia DeJonge, and Alton Mason were in attendance at the photo call on Thursday morning (May 26) in Cannes, France.

Baz and the cast were joined by Elvis‘ real-life wife Priscilla Presley, who has shown a ton of support for the film.

During the press conference, Baz talked about the “greatest review” the movie received.
