Katy Perry Shares an Inside Look at Manchester Benefit Concert

Ariana Grande Releases Live 'Over the Rainbow' Cover as Charity Single

Ariana Grande has released her live version of the classic song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as a charity single to support the victims of the Manchester attack.

The 23-year-old singer closed the One Love Manchester benefit concert over the weekend with the stunning cover and now it’s available to download on iTunes or stream on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.

Ariana has also re-released her former single “One Last Time” with all proceeds going to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Selena Gomez Praises Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber For 'One Love Manchester' Performances

Selena Gomez really enjoyed the message behind the One Love Manchester benefit this weekend.

The 24-year-old “Bad Liar” songstress visited the SiriusXM studios on Monday morning (June 5) in New York City where she was asked about the concert – and she had nothing but lovely things to say about her ex Justin Bieber too.

“It was beautiful. Every one did such a beautiful job,” Selena said. “It was so gorgeous. I love how [Ariana Grande] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful.”

She added, “That’s what I hope everybody can take away…that we’re not going to live in fear. That we refuse to.”

Usher Explains Why He Missed One Love Manchester Concert

Usher was on the lineup of performers for the One Love Manchester benefit concert, but he wasn’t in attendance and now he’s explaining his absence.

“So happy to see that last night’s concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails. I would have loved to be there but it was my son’s first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes,” the 38-year-old entertainer wrote on his Instagram account.

“This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong UK,” he added.

Katy Perry Wore Manchester Victims' Photos on Her Dress at One Love Concert

Katy Perry paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester attack in an amazing way during her performance at the One Love Manchester benefit concert on Sunday night (June 4) at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, England.

The 32-year-old entertainer wore photos of the 22 people who died in the attack on the back and neck of her dress.

“It’s not easy to always choose love, is it, especially in moments like these, right?” Katy told the crowd during her two-song set. “It can be the most difficult thing to do. But love conquers fear and love conquers hate, and this love that you choose will give you strength, and it’s our greatest power.”

Ariana Grande Sings 'Over the Rainbow' to End One Love Manchester Concert

Ariana Grande closed out the One Love Manchester concert on Sunday (June 4) by performing an emotional rendition of the classic song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from the movie The Wizard of Oz!

The 23-year-old singer got her start on Broadway and she is a musical theatre lover, so it’s no surprise that she performed the song as her encore.

There were so many highlights during the concert, but one of the most emotional moments had to be when Ariana joined a children’s choir to perform her song “My Everything,” the title track off her second album.

Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' Concert Raises Millions

Ariana Grande‘s One Love Manchester benefit concert was not only entertaining, but it was a major success in terms of raising money.

The British Red Cross confirmed that over $12 million has been raised for the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund” so far – $2.5 million alone during the three-hour benefit via text and online donations.

Ariana also just re-released her song “One Last Time ” as a charity single. Get it on iTunes now!

All net ticket proceeds go directly to the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,” which was set up by the Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross, in aid of grieving families and victims of the horrific attack.

The live broadcast on Facebook was a big success with more than 76 million views. 22,000 people donated more than $440,000 and counting.
