We caught up with the young rising stars of the Broadway cast of & Juliet and next up in our series is Philippe Arroyo.

Philippe is making his Broadway debut in the musical as Francois after previously appearing in national tours of Aladdin and Into the Woods.

& Juliet is a multi-generational story of self-discovery, empowerment and love, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. The musical uses songs from Max Martin‘s catalog, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more.

1. I am the biggest Dungeons and Dragons nerd you’ve ever met. I play every Monday with my improv actor friends. All we need is wine and dice, and we always have a great time.
2. I learned how to ride the unicycle at band camp in the 7th grade.
3. I love video games, and to prove myself to gamers everywhere, I decided to build my own computer.
4. The longest amount of time I’ve sat in a bath has been upwards of three and a half hours. Give me a Lush bath bomb and I could go for four.
5. This past year I went to Comic-Con dressed as Marty McFly and met Michael J. Fox.

The highly anticipated musical & Juliet is officially coming to Broadway this fall and the dates have finally been announced!

The musical is currently playing a pre-Broadway engagement in Toronto and the full cast will be transferring to the New York production later this year. The show is also running in London, where it has been a smash success.

And Juliet features an original book by Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read and music from legendary songwriter and producer Max Martin. The musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, all written by Martin and his collaborators, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more.
