The 24-year-old singer and the 25-year-old The Summer I Turned Pretty actor recently sat down with BuzzFeed UK to promote their new film, the Mean Girls musical movie.
During the interview, they reacted to memes with iconic lines from Mean Girls. When Chris didn’t understand one at all and freaked out, Renee stepped in to help.

Drew Barrymore is praising Reneé Rapp for protecting her!
Back in August 2023, the 48-year-old talk show host and the 24-year-old Mean Girls actress were discussing Reneé‘s album Snow Angel at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
In the middle of their conversation, a man attempted to come up on stage and talk to Drew before security stepped in. As soon as he approached, Reneé swiftly stood up and led Drew away from the situation.
When Reneé appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday (January 12), Drew took a moment to acknowledge the incident.

The 24-year-old Mean Girls star was making an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (January 10) to promote the new movie, and fell while leaving (all while holding a bottle of champagne that appeared to go unharmed!)
After the fall, she appeared to laugh at herself too, as evidenced by the photos.
If you don’t know, January 10 also happens to be Renee‘s birthday, and she was heading out to celebrate for the night when the tumble occurred.

The cast of the new Mean Girls musical movie celebrated the film at a red carpet premiere in the Big Apple, just down the street from where the Broadway show was performed!
Angourie Rice and Renee Rapp were joined by their castmates at the event on Monday night (January 8) at AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York City.
Tina Fey and producer Lorne Michaels had a special guest join the cast – the original film’s star Lindsay Lohan!
For those who don’t know, Tina wrote the book for the Broadway musical and she wrote the screenplay for the musical movie as well. She reprises her role as Ms. Norbury in the film.
Other cast members in attendance included Auli’i Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Jaquel Spivey, Bebe Wood, Avantika, Busy Philipps, Jon Hamm with wife Anna Osceola, Mahi Alam, Allison Winn, Brian Altemus, and John El-Jor.
