Megan Thee Stallion Goes Blonde, Wears Form-Fitting Purple Dress at 'Mean Girls' Premiere with Renee Rapp

Megan Thee Stallion is showing off a fierce new look at the Mean Girls musical movie premiere!

The 28-year-old rapper joined the movie’s star Renee Rapp at the red carpet premiere on Monday evening (January 8) at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.

Megan and Renee collaborated on the song “Not My Fault” for the film’s soundtrack and the official music video was just released. Watch below!

The song is inspired by Cady Heron’s quote when she yells at Janis Ian, “You know what! It’s not my fault you’re like, in love with me, or something!”

The Mean Girls musical movie hits theaters on Friday and the original film’s star Lindsay Lohan helped celebrate at the red carpet premiere as well.

FYI: Renee is wearing a Christian Siriano dress.

Megan Thee Stallion and Renee Rapp are teaming up for a hot new music video!

On Friday (January 5), the two stars debuted the music video for their new collab “Not My Fault,” which will be featured on the soundtrack for Renee‘s upcoming Mean Girls musical movie.

The video features several nods to the iconic 2004 film, including Megan paying homage to Regina George while wearing a cut-out white tank shirt with her purple bra exposed.

Billie Eilish, Kate McKinnon, Greta Gerwig, & More Step Out for Star-Studded 'SNL' Afterparty!

Plenty of stars stepped out to celebrate the latest Saturday Night Live episode!

The host of the Saturday (December 16) episode, Kate McKinnon, and musical guest Billie Eilish were seen at the afterparty.

Other stars photographed outside the party include: Greta Gerwig, Jason Sudeikis, Reneé Rapp, Jon Hamm, Anna Osceola, Questlove, Sarah Sherman, Chloe Fineman, Claudia Sulewski, J.J. Abrams, and Hannah Waddingham.

Saturday’s edition of SNL also celebrated the year’s biggest movie, Barbie! Billie performed her original song “What Was I Made For” and was featured in a Barbie-inspired sketch. Greta, who directed the film, made a surprise appearance, and Kate‘s hosting gig comes after she appeared as Weird Barbie in the movie.

Kate was also commemorating her return to SNL following her departure from its recurring cast in 2022.

Tina Fey Joins the 'Mean Girls' Musical Movie Cast for L.A. Event, One Month Ahead of Theatrical Release!

The new Mean Girls movie is just one month away from hitting theaters and the cast just gathered for their first major event!

Tina Fey joined Renee Rapp, Angourie Rice, and the rest of the young cast for a photo call on Monday afternoon (December 4) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance were Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, and Christopher Briney.

Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming movie, based on the Broadway musical: “New student Cady Heron (Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Cravalho) and Damian (Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.”

Tina, who wrote the movie, is reprising her role as Ms. Norbury. The film will hit theaters on January 12 and we have the latest trailer, which wasn’t that well-received by fans.

Renee Rapp Releases 'Snow Angel (Deluxe)' & Calls Making Her Album 'The Greatest Gift' in Emotional Post

Renee Rapp is sharing the deluxe version of her debut album Snow Angel!

The 23-year-old Mean Girls star released the new version of the project on Friday (November 17). The deluxe version features three new tracks as well as her song “Tummy Hurts” with a new feature, Coco Jones.

Renee opened up about the new music in an emotional Instagram post.
