Joy Woods' 'My Days' from 'The Notebook' Musical Is Broadway's Best New Power Ballad - Watch the Music Video!

Joy Woods is one of Broadway’s biggest breakout stars of the season and her song “My Days” from The Notebook is the best new power ballad from a musical!

The rising star was previously seen in the Broadway musical Six and the off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.

Joy stars as Middle Allie in the new musical version of The Notebook, taking on the role made famous by Rachel McAdams in the hit movie.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson wrote the music and lyrics for the show and the Original Cast Recording is now available. A music video for “My Days” was also released!

“Writing this musical has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I am beyond excited to welcome everyone into our world,” Ingrid said in a statement.

Rachel McAdams is voicing her thoughts on The Notebook musical!

The 45-year-old actress starred opposite Ryan Gosling in the iconic 2004 romance film based on the book of the same name. A Broadway musical rendition of the story celebrated its opening night on March 14.

Ryan Vasquez, Joy Woods, and Jordan Tyson, John Cardoza, Maryann Plunkett, and Dorian Harewood are among the cast members.

Rachel, who is currently headlining her first Broadway production, Mary Jane, was recently asked about The Notebook musical.

NFL Star & Broadway Fan Solomon Thomas Catches 'The Notebook' Musical, Meets Cast Backstage!

Solomon Thomas is a football player for the NFL who is also a massive Broadway fan!

The 28-year-old defensive tackle for the New York Jets gets to enjoy everything that Broadway has to offer since he lives in the New York area.

Solomon caught a performance of the new musical The Notebook on Wednesday (March 27) and we have exclusive photos from his backstage visit with the cast after the show.

Solomon was seen chatting with stars Ryan Vasquez, Joy Woods, Jordan Tyson, and the rest of the company.

The musical, featuring new music by singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, just had its official opening a couple weeks ago and we have all the photos from the event!

The Notebook is currently running at the Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway in New York City.

Ingrid Michaelson Joins Broadway's 'The Notebook' Cast at Opening Night of Brand New Musical!

The new Broadway musical The Notebook celebrated its opening night this week!

Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, who wrote the music for the new show, joined the cast at the celebration on Thursday night (March 14) at the Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City.

Three sets of actors portray the roles of Allie and Noah, who were made famous by Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling in the movie version.

Cast members Joy Woods (Middle Allie), Ryan Vazquez (Middle Noah), Maryann Plunkett (Older Allie), Dorian Harewood (Older Noah), Jordan Tyson (Younger Allie), and John Cardoza (Younger Noah) all walked the red carpet at the event. Director Schele Williams and original book author Nicholas Sparks also were in attendance!

“What truly sells the couple’s romance — and, by extension, the entire show — are the dazzling performances by every version of Noah and Allie,” wrote Entertainment Weekly.
