Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Christian Biscardi!

“I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness. Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate,” the 31-year-old Jersey Shore star posted on her Instagram. “I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you @_biscardi I love you!! #Fiance #MrsBiscardi 💍💍💍 #Stillcryingtearsofhappiness.”

Sammi has famously not participated in the Jersey Shore reboot, Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Sammi‘s ex, Ronnie Magro, has been a central focus on the show with regard to his baby’s mom Jen Harley.

The Jersey Shore ladies are back together again!

Deena Cortese celebrated her baby shower with all of her co-stars – including Sammi Giancola! – on Saturday afternoon (November 3).

“DEENER’S baby shower for CJ! Can’t wait to meet another addition to our family. Love these ladies so much!!!!!! #Family #MySisters ❤️❤️,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi captioned the below photo with the pregnant star, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, and Sammi.

When it was announced that the stars would be reuniting for the new series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Sammi revealed that she would not be returning because she did not want to film with ex boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

Deena and husband Chris Buckner tied the knot in October 2017 and will be naming their son after him.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation is premiering tonight, and we’re taking a look back at the cast…then and now.

The show sees the return of cast members Deena Nicole Cortese, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Pollizi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino.

This season on MTV, Sammi Sweetheart decided not to participate, but she’s included in our before and after as well.

If you don’t know, season one of Jersey Shore premiered back in 2009.

Jersey Shore‘s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was asked about his thoughts on why Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola did not participate in Jersey Shore Family Vacation, set to debut on April 5 on MTV.

“We started this all together and I would have loved to have finished it together because now everyone thinks it’s because of me she didn’t come back, but it’s because she has a boyfriend,” Ronnie told Us Weekly about Sammi‘s decision.

Meanwhile, Sammi has already clarified the reasons why she did not want to appear.

If you don’t know, throughout the numerous seasons on the show, Ronnie and Sam were in a relationship that was considered extremely tumultuous due to their frequent fighting.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is speaking out for the first time to explain why she is not participating in the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reunion series.

The 31-year-old TV personality took to Instagram on Friday (March 30) to reveal that she skipped out on the reunion to focus on herself.

“I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship,” Sammi writes. “I am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.”

It has been rumored that Sammi did not want to take part in the reunion to avoid working with ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro – who is currently expecting a daughter with girlfriend Jen Harley next month.

“However, it was a difficult decision as I love my roomies,” Sammi continued. “I’ve decided to focus on me, my future, and what truly makes me happy. I will forever be grateful to Jersey Shore and everything it has brought to me! I’ve just decided to live my life for me these days.”

Sammi has been dating boyfriend Christian Biscardi for nearly two years and have started fitness business “The Strength Spot” together.

“Also I am forever grateful and thankful for all of you!!!” Sammi concludes. “Special shout out to my fans, but I’m not going anywhere! Follow me and stay tuned. You never know what I could be up to NEXT!”

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will premiere on MTV on Thursday, April 5.

They’re coming back!

MTV’s mega hit reality show Jersey Shore has started filming a reunion show, NJ.com reports.

The cast – Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Pauly D, Vinnie Gaudagnino, Deena Cortese, and Ronnie Ortiz – has been spotted filming along the Jersey shore since the start of the summer.

As of right now, MTV and the cast have remained mum on details from the upcoming reunion.

Just last month, Snooki shared with E! News that she would be thrilled to to do a reunion, but teased that timing wasn’t right.

“Yes! Snooki said. “but not for a long time because I have kids. Like for a week.”

Jersey Shore aired on MTV from 2009 to 2012.

After a busy day of filming, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, and Deena were spotted grabbing dinner at Jenkinson’s Pavilion Restaurant in Point Pleasant on June 16.

Snooki is all smiles after marrying Jionni LaVelle at the St. Rose of Lima Church on Saturday afternoon (November 29) in East Hanover, NJ.

The 27-year-old reality star had former Jersey Shore co-stars Jennifer ‘JWoww’ Farley, Deena Cortese, and Sammi Giancola as bridesmaids and Pauly D was also in attendance.
