Shiri Appleby looks chic while making an appearance on Amazon’s Style Code Live on Monday (August 1) in New York City.

The 37-year-old UnReal star recently opened up about how she feels about reality television while starring in a series that is rumored to have upset some of the people behind The Bachelor.

“They’re doing fine. The show’s been on for 20 seasons. They’ve got like 16 million viewers watching. My heart is not breaking for them,” she told ET.

Shiri added, “I think we pulled the veil back on reality television just in terms of how are these shows produced. My intention was not to go out there and do some sort of expose and take this huge ABC franchise down. I enjoy The Bachelor.”

“I sat down next to [Shiri] and looked at myself in the monitor last season, and I saw I was kind of heavy,” he told People.

Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer flash a smile together while attending their Lifetime UnREAL Group Date and Champagne Brunch held aboard the Dandeana Yacht on Sunday (June 5) in Marina del Rey, Calif.

The two ladies were joined by their co-star B.J. Britt, Lifetime Head of Programming Liz Gateley, as well as the executive producers of the show as they celebrated season two, which debuts Monday (June 6) at 10/9c on Lifetime!

“I would just hope it shows strong women that it’s O.K. to be strong,” Constance said about the show and her character (via NYT). “She’s a woman who is flawed and has struggles and is insecure but is at the same time confident and independent, and it’s incredible that this is what I get to play at this time in my life. There’s so much more about her that we have yet to learn.”
