The 27-year-old actress was joined on set that day by the show’s star Charlie Hunnam.

Lea will be playing “Gertie, an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother who connects with Gemma (Katey Sagal) during a difficult time.”

This is the final season of the hit FX series and Lea‘s episode will air on October 14. We can’t wait!

“On set at @SonsofAnarchy with my favorite person @Harparbar this is so cool! #SOAFX,” Lea tweeted along with a photo of herself and director Paris Barclay. She previously worked with him on many episodes of Glee.

Lea Michele just announced some major news to her fans – she will be guest starring on an episode of Sons of Anarchy for the upcoming final season!

“Woke up so excited today! Fun news to share…” the 27-year-old actress tweeted. “I’ll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX.”

The show’s creator Kurt Sutter teased that a guest star announcement would be made at Comic-Con, but it looks like he let Lea break the news herself!

Other guest stars for the upcoming season, which will debut September 9, include Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love.

During the panel, Charlie spoke up to reports about how he really feels about the show’s perennial snubs at the Emmy’s.

“Lest we forget, it doesn’t matter at all. I feel there’s this perception that we’re upset about this and I really don’t give a shit,” Charlie said to laughs from his co-stars (via THR). “I make this for the people that watch the show and I really care for me about the work that I do and for my friends that watch it. People don’t appreciate it. You can’t win them all.”

Charlie Hunnam hits the set of his series Sons of Anarchy on Monday afternoon (June 2) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actor recently opened up about dropping out of the highly anticipated movie Fifty Shades of Grey.

“I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn’t have taken it on in the first place,” Charlie told Life & Style.

“When you put the time into something like that and a character comes alive in your mind, it’s heartbreaking not to be able to play him,” he added. “It was definitely kind of heartbreaking having to say goodbye to that character and not bring it to life.”
