Former Bachelor contestant Taylor Nolan is speaking out after insensitive tweets from her past have resurfaced.

The posts, which date back to 2011 and 2012, circulated on Twitter and Reddit after Taylor condemned Chris Harrison for his controversial comments regarding current Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell.

In the posts, Taylor insulted Jewish individuals, Asian Americans and Indians. She also used several homophobic and fat phobic slurs.

Taylor apologized for her comments in a 30-minute video on her Instagram.

“My tweets from ten years ago are s–tty, they suck, they were wrong, and are hurtful,” she wrote in the caption. “I want to be clear that they don’t take away from the work I do today, they are literally how I got here to doing this work.

“To my fellow BIPOC community and the other folks who I harmed in those tweets, I see you, I hope you see me, we are in this together and I’m sorry I didn’t always stand with you,” Taylor continued. “I’m sorry I centered my whiteness and the whiteness around me. I’m sorry I wasn’t better then, but I am here now and will always be.”

She also added, “I hope you can consider giving me some of ~grace~ you push so hard for white bachelor alum to receive for things they have in the recent past or present time said and done that were harmful…for the work I’ve been doing the last ten years and currently to unpack internalized racism and fight against things like fat phobia and white supremacy.”

Taylor competed on the reality show during Nick Viall‘s season in 2017.

She called for host Chris Harrison to be fired after he defended Rachael Kirkconell‘s decision to attend an “antebellum plantation themed ball” in an interview with her former castmate Rachel Lindsay.

Chris said that he will be “stepping aside” from the franchise in a statement on his Instagram and it was announced he would be replaced for The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special.

Rachel recently deleted her Instagram amid the controversy.

Taylor Nolan is calling out Arie Luyendyk, Jr.

The 27-year-old Bachelor alum put Arie on blast after he left a comment on her Instagram that she says made her feel bullied and sex-shamed.

In her recent Instagram video, Taylor explained what happened to her fans that ignited the argument between the two and what caused it to escalate.

She notes that it started when the Arie posted an Instagram poll on election night about who people would be voting for and writing, “Remember we are all United and it’s OK to have different opinions that’s freedom.”

“How are you going to say were all united when the other people are literally voting against the rights of their neighbors? ‘There’s both people on good sides?’ It’s bulls***,” she responded to him in the comments.

Arie left her comment alone then, but a few weeks later, left a comment on her own Instagram, which was one of her partnership posts.

“Love how you came after me for posting an election poll but you’re advertising masturbation pads or whatever the hell this is…classy,” he wrote and she shared a screenshot of.

“This is part of what I do for my job, I do partnerships on Instagram. I also work as a sex therapist. I’m a licensed psychotherapist and I’m in school getting my PhD in clinical sexology,” Taylor argued in the clip. “So, this is the post that he feels is something that he can put me down with. [It’s] sex-shaming and sex-negativity, which this is not a space for. Y’all know that I don’t play with that s***. My whole passion and job, literally that I’ve chosen, is to fight against that.”

She added, “This isn’t just a regular post of me talking about sex toys or sex in general. This is a post specific that is a partnership post, that could hit me in my income, that could hit me in my ability to do partnerships, that there’s specific shaming in how I’m making my money, which mind you is really no different than how he’s making his money. Mine just maybe has a little more impact for people than his does.”

Taylor was first part of The Bachelor‘s season 21 with Nick Viall, before going to Bachelor in Paradise for season 4.

Just recently, Arie revealed he had tested positive for coronavirus.

Taylor Nolan, a former Bachelor contestant who competed on Nick Viall‘s season, opened up about her sexuality and exploring “poly-type relationships.”

“Pretty single and safely mingling,” Taylor said during an appearance on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!. “It’s been a really interesting last kind of two and a half-ish years of experimenting, of exploring kind of what kind of a relationship I want to be in.”

“I’ve definitely kind of experimented more with poly-type relationships,” she said. “And love doesn’t have to present itself in this fairy tale, heterosexual, non-monogamous dynamic. Like, it can look many different ways… If you’re hot, you’re hot.”

If you don’t know, polyamory is “the practice of engaging in multiple sexual relationships with the consent of all the people involved.”

“Trans people are hot, non-binary people are hot, men are hot, women are hot. Like, it’s a full spectrum of attractiveness,” she continued.

Taylor was previously engaged to another member of Bachelor Nation.

Chris Soules walks the red carpet while attending 102.7 KIIS FM’s 2019 Jingle Ball held at The Forum on Friday night (December 6) in Los Angeles.

This marks the 38-year-old former The Bachelor star’s first public appearance in two years following his involvement in a deadly car crash.

Chris has been laying low since April 2017, when he was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a car collision before police officers arrived. He allegedly was driving a pickup truck and rear-ended a tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer died. Chris was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident and was sentenced to two years probation.

During his appearance at Jingle Ball, Chris told ET that he’s not “really returning to the spotlight,” but just at the event to enjoy a fun evening with friends. Other Bachelor Nation stars in attendance included Hannah Brown, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti, Taylor Nolan, and Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes.

“I’m here for a really great concert,” Chris added. “I’m here in L.A. and kind of just living the dream a little bit.”

In regards to the past couple years, Chris said, “It has been tough but it makes you appreciate the people around you, family, friends — and how hard things can get, you just have to press on.”

It’s over for Taylor Nolan and Derek Peth.

The couple – who met on last season of Bachelor in Paradise – released a statement confirming the split. The pair got engaged during the Bachelor in Paradise after show.

“It is with much sadness that we have decided to end our engagement. We put everything we could into our relationship and are heartbroken to go forward separately, but we know this is the best decision for the both of us,” the exes told E! News. “We will still be present in each other’s lives with support, admiration and respect for each other.”

Bachelor in Paradise couple Derek Peth and Taylor Nolan are not scared to flaunt their love in public now that their rumored engagement is out there in the news!

The reality show stars were seen holding hands and sharing a kiss while leaving Hyde nightclub on Thursday night (August 31) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Derek, a commercial banker and Taylor, a health counselor, met during Bachelor in Paradise and are currently in a relationship on the show.

On the show this week, it seemed that the couple’s relationship was going through a rocky time, but they’re obviously very happy right now!

Derek and Taylor are reportedly engaged!

“Derek and Taylor got engaged last night,” a source told Us Weekly of the Bachelor in Paradise couple. “No one knew Derek was going to propose. He gave her a Neil Lane ring.”

The proposal reportedly happened during the taping of an aftershow on Wednesday (August 30).

Derek, a commercial banker and Taylor, a health counselor, met during Bachelor in Paradise and are currently in a relationship on the show.
