Brandy is heading back to the big screen.
The 43-year-old singer and actress is set to star in the A24 psychological horror film The Front Room from directors Max and Sam Eggers, she confirmed on Thursday (August 24).
The Eggers brothers’ older sibling Robert Eggers did The Witch and The Lighthouse, and will be making their directorial debut. They adapted the screenplay from Susan Hill’s short story of the same name.
Here’s a plot summary, via Variety: “The Front Room follows a young, newly pregnant couple forced to take in an ailing stepmother who has long been estranged from the family.”
Brandy previously starred in movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
