Two Beloved 'Criminal Minds' Stars Are Not Returning for 'Evolution' Series, But These Six Stars Will Be (Plus, One Exciting New Cast Member)

The time has finally arrived for the premiere of the Criminal Minds revival series on Paramount+ and sadly some beloved stars did not return for the series.

Criminal Minds: Evolution will debut on the streaming service with a two-episode premiere on November 24, which happens to be Thanksgiving. The premiere episode is also airing on CBS. Longtime fans of the series will definitely have something to be thankful for this year!

After those two episodes debut, new episodes will continue dropping once a week on Thursdays. A mid-season finale will premiere on December 15 and then new episodes will pick up again on January 12. The season finale will debut on February 9.

The new series follows “the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers [as they] come up against their greatest threat yet, an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other serial killers. As the world opens back up and the network goes operational, the team must hunt them down, one murder at a time.”

Six beloved actors are returning for the revival, two fan-fave stars are not coming back, and one popular actor has been added to the show.

'Criminal Minds' Revival Gets Paramount+ Premiere Date - Plus See Who Is & Isn't Returning

The revival series Criminal Minds: Evolution is coming soon to Paramount+ and the streaming service just announced the premiere date.

The 10-episode first season of the revival series will get a two-episode premiere on November 24. After those two episodes debut, new episodes will continue dropping once a week on Thursdays.

The Criminal Minds reboot is going to premiere soon on Paramount+ and a new title was just announced.

Criminal Minds: Evolution will premiere on the streaming service in Fall 2022. The original series ran for 15 seasons on CBS and ended in 2020.

Variety reports that the series “follows the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers as they come up against their greatest threat yet, an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other serial killers. As the world opens back up and the network goes operational, the team must hunt them down, one murder at a time.”

An exciting new actor was added to the cast, joining some of your favorite returning stars. Two beloved Criminal Minds actors will not be back though.

From The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan, Midnight Mass tells the tale of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Hamish Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community – but do these miracles come at a price?

Kate Siegel, Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Annarah Cymone, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Igby Rigney, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas, and Michael Trucco also star in the show.

Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba are ready for the premiere of L.A.’s Finest!

The co-stars hit the red carpet at the celebration on Friday night (May 10) at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles.

Gabrielle was joined by her husband Dwyane Wade while Jessica brought along her brother Joshua.

They were also joined by some of their co-stars including Duane Martin, Sophie Reynolds, Zach Gilford and Ryan McPartlin.

LA’s Finest is a spinoff series of the Bad Boys films, which will focus on Drug Enforcement Agent Sydney Burnett.

The show premieres on May 13th on Spectrum.

Jessica Alba & Gabrielle Union Get Back to 'L.A.'s Finest' Filming!

Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union are getting back into the grind after the holidays!

The 37-year-old Mechanic: Resurrection actress and the 46-year-old Being Mary Jane star were spotted on the set of their upcoming series L.A.’s Finest on Monday (January 28) in Los Angeles.

They were joined by co-stars Duane Martin and Zach Gilford.

The group was filming a murder scene for the show, which is a spinoff of the Bad Boys film series that will focus on Drug Enforcement Agent Sydney Burnett (Gabrielle).

Jessica and Gabriella were also seen shooting in Venice Beach in November, and filming more action scenes in October.
