Lindsay Lohan: I Must Prove Myself

In her first interview since rehab, the 24-year-old actress talked about what she has missed most. “I miss being on set. I really do miss it. I know there’s going to be a lot of steps I’ll have to go through to prove myself again and get the trust from people I respect to work with, but I’m willing to do what I have to do to get there because that’s my passion,” she told Extra.

Lindsay said that now she wants to do “great films” and “tell great stories.” “That’s what I aspired to do my whole life, and personal instances in my life have gotten in the way. But I don’t want that to be what I am known for, the tabloid stuff, that’s not me. I don’t like the attention. I don’t want my attention to come through my films and the work I am doing, not from going to the hair salon.”
