Dakota Fanning: 'Now Is Good' Poster With Jeremy Irvine!

Dakota Fanning gets close with Jeremy Irvine in the UK poster for their upcominig film, Now Is Good.

The 17-year-old actress takes on the role of Tessa Scott, a girl dying of leukemia who writes a list of things she’d like to do before passing away. On the top of the list: her desire to lose her virginity.

Dakota was first spotted on the film’s London set back in July with a blonde pixie cut.

Though there was buzz she had chopped off her long locks, Dakota‘s rep later explained that she was just donning a wig to play her character.

I read a book that is similair to this movie, Before I die. It was very sad and I cried while reading the book. Maybe I’ll see this movie!

# 2

Don’t like the Fanning girls. They always strike me as cold and arrogant!

# 3

Sounds like a REALLY stupid movie with a concept that has been done too many times.

# 4

@Mimi:
You are as stupid as ****.

If Dakota wants to lose her virginity in the movie, then I’m sure that Jeremy Irvine is just the man for the job!

# 6

I was about to WTF until I read it was Jerem. I thought it was Ryan Phillipe lmao.

# 7

Yeah, because it’s every teenage girl’s dream to “lose her virginity.” It’s always such a right of passage to have teenage girls lose their virginity in movies. Please!

I like Dakota, but this sounds lame.

The summary sounds lamer than it is. for the teen market, this will be their first movie of this genre.

i thought she was emma watson when i saw the cover, and yes i thought the guys was ryan philipe too

^Dakota is so much more talented!

With age-of-consent laws higher than the stratosphere, (age-of-consent laws are forms of eugenics, government imposed austerity, sexual slavery to abstinence, etc), forcing so many to wait until they are old, and with the increasing prevalence of cancer in the world, (lots of increasing radiation out there, carcinogens, tainted and GMO foods, etc.), of course this is not an uncommon theme.

Dakota played a scene involving forcible sex in “Hounddog” (2007). Not surprisingly, she acted that with vivid and convincing clarity.

Dakota’s sister Elle, has herself received torrents of criticism for modeling clothes some adults can’t afford, rather than solely dressing as broadly expected of the proverbial second-class citizen, the lowly child. Dakota has been a lightning-rod for criticism, herself, over her many strong roles in numerous hard-hitting films.

Those who are always indignant here, seem to have little beyond that mode from which to respond, except perhaps varying only in degree.

In this insanely repressed world, it takes mountains of courage for salients such as the Fannings to express, through their art, even mere hints of their own sexuality. Sure glad they do.

But this picture seems far beyond a rite of passage story, it involves impending death. No doubt Dakota can relate to the loss of someone very dear, after having lost her good friend and former co-star, Brittany Murphy.

This sounds like a powerful and emotionally moving film. Looking forward to seeing it.

Dakota pretty pretty!

To lose your virginity with a practically unknown man is silly

WTF. this is my favorite book, how did I not know it was going to be a movie? kinda disappointed. it’s one of those books that should just stay a book…….

I love Dakota she’s so incerdible girl!

@Yoki: the movie is adapted from the novel

niga niga niga niga niga.
They should have used black people for this movie.
they are better actors than plaster faces

That’s because it is an adaptation of that book, #1

The book is still a book, #14. It is simply being adapted

Bad photoshop job

What’s up with this losing the virginity thing? Why is it so impostant to YOUNG girls? Whether or not you are dying. Everytime I see this happen in a movie or real life I always roll my eyes. It’s so stupid.

the concept is freaking lame -____-
but I would watch this because of dakota, jeremy, and kaya <3
