OlderShowtime's 'The Big C' Renewed for Short-Order 4th Season
Laura Linney‘s Showtime series The Big C will end after a short-order fourth season to air next year.
The Golden Globe-winning series will receive four one-hour episodes to wrap up the storylines in the show. Many fans were disappointed with the recent third season finale during which [SPOILER] Cathy packs up and abandons her family.
“We would not be happy if this is the ending,” executive producer Elizabeth Bick recently said (via THR). “I think we owe our audience and ourselves the chance to see this through. We still have a lot more story to tell.”

Sad to see it end. It was one of the few shows I actually follow.
Laura’s a great actress – I want to see more of her! She has such warmth and strength at the same time. She could win an Oscar if she just got a chance to be in a successful film with a great character for her to play. Very underrated actor indeed. And her smile is so beautiful.
Maybe she could be in a film by Paul Thomas Anderson. I don’t know why but I feel like they would collaborate well together for some reason.
