It was recently announced that Keira has reportedly signed on to star opposite Chris Pine in Paramount’s franchise hopeful Jack Ryan, according to THR.
The film focuses on Jack Ryan (Pine), who uncovers a plot by his employer to finance a terrorist attack designed to collapse the U.S. economy. Ryan must race against time to save America and his wife (Knightley).

I wish she wouldn’t do this film. Sounds like such a generic wife role especially after playing such strong female characters like Anna Karenina, Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and Elizabeth Bennet.
