Cool!! It looks like he’s been getting better roles since he switched agencies. :)

@Cyn: yes, I was thinking the same thing. It seems to be working out well for him. He will be having a movie coming out at Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2014.

Wasn’t Jennifer Aniston in the original movie, or am I crazy? The first one was very good.

  • Chris

These crappy movies are one timers and should never have part2. The 1st one was hell watching the big chinnifer on the screen and she’s so obnoxious. Yeah, with the economy the way it is folks don’t waste money and time watching these types of movies, no genuine humor but rather slap stick forced acting.

  • well

    not a good acting move….

what?there’s gonna be a sequel to Horrible Bosses??why???to ruin it??the first was so good…dammit

OMG!! my ovaries are gonna explode with that picture of Chris. He’s so gorgeous!! I want his babies!!

I think Chris will be great in this movie. He’s a natural at comedy & I’ve seen him playing darker characters in films/TV, which he does very well. In fact I think he performs better playing these darker parts than the action hero/romantic lead type, but that’s just my opinion. Also he’s drop-dead gorgeous so I’d watch him in anything. His career seems to be going from strength to strength & he deserves success, he works so hard. Good luck to him.

I think Olivia Wilde had an apt description of Pine – he’s a character actor stuck in a leading man’s body.

IMO, character actors are more memorable than leading men :)

@Cyn: In agreement with you there. Some have compared him to Paul Newman, not for just the eyes, but because Paul Newman also longed to be seen for his talent and not his looks. Before anybody gets too excited, I am not saying he is famous or anything –yet–just that the comparison of both being a character actor stuck in a leading man’s body is an apt one.

edit to my reply # 11: “as famous or anything as Paul Newman–yet–”
though I believe he as the ability to be on par with a Paul Newman. Chris’s theater work is already impressive as was Newman’s.

@Cyn: Yes, I agree character actors are more memorable. I think that very attractive actors can be held back by their looks from getting “meaty” parts. Chris played a murderer in an early episode of CSI Miami called “Extreme” & in a TV drama called Confession, he was brilliant in both. Maybe as the years go by & Chris loses his boyish good looks (it comes to us all) he’ll get offered better parts!

@Teepi: Chris did evil right in CSI & Confession. Carriers also showed his depth. Very diverse actor. Nice on the eyes and pleasant to the ear! Horrible Bosses 2 ought to be better than the first. Looking fwd to it!

I have just seen Horrible Bosses for the first time on TV (in NZ). It was actually quite a funny movie. Hopefully, the second one will be as good. Chris has great comic timing. Something else to look forward to.

    Go, Chris Pine!
