Tim Burton & Michael Keaton: Return for 'Beetlejuice 2'?

Tim Burton and Michael Keaton are currently in talks to reunite in the highly anticipated film Beetlejuice 2, according to Variety!

The 55-year-old director and the 62-year-old actor have worked together on hit films Beetlejuice, Batman Returns, and Batman.

Beetlejuice 2 writer Seth Grahame Smith just tweeted about the upcoming film, “Big news today. Very exciting, and very daunting. Lots of work ahead.”

Tim is currently directing Amy Adams in their upcoming film Big Eyes, also starring Christoph Waltz. He has not committed to his next project yet.

As much as I hate sequels, Beetlejuice was one of my favorites growing up. I know Hollywood are running out of ideas, but I wouldn’t mind a sequel to this.

@Kate: i dont think anybody would mind a sequel for it, beetlejuice is an iconic movie for many reasons. if burton or keaton are NOT going to be involved in the sequel, im not watching it at all. michael keaton IS beetlejuice, nobody else can do him justice, not even burton’s BFF johnny depp could pull it off lmao.

What a classic. Winona Ryder was wonderful in this. The guy who played the father was arrested for child porn or something.

No.1; Great sequels are usually under rated.

@daisy: So true! Keaton is Beetlejuice, and if anyone else is playing him I’m not going to even bother watching. Let’s hope all the original cast are in this!
