Kylie Jenner on Growing Up in Front of Cameras: 'It's All Kind of Normal To Us'

Kylie Jenner works the camera in this brand new feature from V magazine’s latest issue.

Here’s what the 17-year-old reality television star and model had to share with the mag:

On growing up in front of the cameras: “We don’t even remember a time before the show and before the cameras and all that, it’s all kind of normal to us.”

On her sci-fi book with sister Kendall: “Originally we were going to do a book revolving around me and Kendall, maybe high school girls or something like that. Then we decided we wanted to do something that no one expected, like a sci-fi novel. So it actually has nothing to do with our life, and that’s what we wanted.”

On her social media following: “I’m obsessed with Instagram, Kendall showed it to me, and my mom was on Twitter before me, so I was kind of the last one in the family to get on social media.”

“We were told early on by mommy that our purpose was to make money for the collective. It is just a given that every moment of our lives was to be scripted to render the most drama possible. Nothing is off limits. My sisters and I have been encouraged to behave as obnoxiously as possible. My brother? Mommy doesn’t care about him at all. The ‘Ladder of Power’ in our family goes like this: Mommy, Kim, Kendall, Kourtney, me, Khloe, the dog, Daddy, and then Rob.
If you don’t have money making potential, mommy doesn’t love you and she’ll tell you that to your face.
She’s already coaching Nori and Penelope on how to be little h0′s. She tells Mason to ‘get out of her way and go play with Uncle Rob’.
Mommy is the embodiment of evil, but none of us have the guts to escape because we are ignorant and plus we like all the stuff money gets us.”
