It was a great night of amazing performances and a celebration of country music at the 2016 CMT Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

Carrie Underwood won big, taking home Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year for her hit single “Smoke Break.”

Meanwhile, Little Big Town proved successful in the Group/Duo Video category with their catchy track “Girl Crush.”

Unsurprisingly, CMT Social Superstar went to Blake Shelton.
