The high-tech thriller, Searching, comes to Blu-Ray and digital HD today.

After his teenage daughter goes missing with no help from the police, David Kim (played by John Cho) decides to search the one place that no one else has — his daughter’s laptop. Hoping to find out what lead to his daughter disappearance, David desperately contacts her friends and scours through her photos and social media to discover what had happened in this gripping modern thriller.

Boasting a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the new film is very unique in that the story is told mostly through a screen — a computer, television, or smart phone. Director Aneesh Chaganty makes an impressive debut with this unique story-telling of a missing person mystery-thriller.
