'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' Wins the Weekend Box Office!

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has won the weekend box office in its opening debut!

The film earned $35.4 million this weekend after opening on Thursday at midnight. Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, and more are part of the voice cast of the animated flick.

Clint Eastwood‘s The Mule came in second place at the box office with $17.2 million in its opening weekend debut.

Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is still going strong at the box office after a November opening. The film earned $11.5 million, good enough for a third place run at the box office.

Rounding out the top five are Ralph Breaks the Internet and Mortal Engines, which earned 98.5 million and $7.5 million, respectively.
