Kumail Nanjiani Reveals the Advice He Got From Tom Hanks

Kumail Nanjiani got some help from Tom Hanks on the red carpet!

The 41-year-old actor and writer said that Tom spilled his secret to nailing his red carpet pose.

“I was on the red carpet and he was on the red carpet after me…and I have a problem…I haven’t figured out my red carpet face or pose. I’m always kind of neutral,” Kumail explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

He continued, “As soon as I got off the carpet…and I was like, ‘What do you do? You’ve been doing it for so long, how do you work the red carpet? And he said, what he does is hand in one pocket, foot forward, neutral expression.”

Jimmy then pulled out some before and after photos of Kumail‘s poses and it did make a big difference!
