Jamie Lynn Spears Is Returning to Acting After 'Zoey 101'!

Jamie Lynn has booked her first acting role since wrapping Zoey 101 over 10 years ago.

The 28-year-old actress and younger sister to Britney Spears has joined the cast of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix.

Jamie Lynn will portray “Noreen Fitzgibbons, a young woman who came to Serenity to work as a nurse. After a sequence of bad choices, she is determined to build a new life in her new city,” according to Deadline.

Monica Potter, Brooke Elliott, Heather Headley, Chris Klein, and Justin Bruening will also star. The series is based on Sherryl Woods’ popular series of novels set in Serenity, South Carolina.
