'The Office' Extends Its Run On Cable Networks

The Office is continuing its run on cable television!

It was just announced that Viacom has renewed its cable license deal for The Office through 2025, with Comedy Central keeping exclusive cable rights into 2021.

The massively popular series, which currently streams on Netflix, is also headed to NBCU’s upcoming streaming service Peacock, starting in 2021.

NBCU paid more than $500 million to get the show on the platform.

In addition to The Office, Viacom also renewed Parks and Recreation‘s cable license deal until 2024.
