Faith Stowers Recalls Being Racially Profiled During & After She Left 'Vanderpump Rules'

Faith Stowers has opened up about her time on Vanderpump Rules, and recalled being racially profiled by several of her co-stars.

In an Instagram Live with Floribama Shore‘s Candace Rice, Faith looked back on her small role in season four of the reality series, before revealing that they were just using her as the token Black person.

“I did a show with an all white cast. I was the only Black person on the show. Girl, it was a lot. It was Bravo, so the audience there is different than the MTV audience,” Faith said. “I felt like after their friend did something that we both were involved in that he’s done like, a thousand times, for some reason they wanted to attack me instead of him.”

Faith is referring to how Jax Taylor cheated with her while he was still with his girlfriend – now wife – Brittany Cartwright.

“They wanted to attack, attack, attack, attack, attack. I was wrong, I was this, I was that, calling me names, saying my hair was nappy, which is weird coming out of their mouths.”

Faith went on, also recalling how Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute called the cops on her after they were convinced she was the the Black woman who was in the news for robbing and drugging people.

“They called the cops and said it was me. I heard this from Stassi actually doing an interview, she’s telling them what they did to me,” she shared. “They call the cops on me, the police say, ‘That sounds crazy, we’re not coming. That’s not Faith.’ They thought it was me because it was a Black woman with a weave. They just assumed it would be me and they called the cops on me.”

Stassi admitted during another event that she did go through Faith’s Instagram to try and implicate her.

“We are like we just solved a f–king crime,” she said in 2018. “We start calling the police. The police don’t give a f***. It’’s really hard to get in touch with the police unless it’s an emergency.”

Kristen even tweeted about it.

Now, Faith is seeing a lot of her former cast members tweet about Black Lives Matter.

“I’ve been getting a lot of messages because a lot of them now are screaming Black Lives Matter and it’s like … I know they definitely don’t care about Black people like that,” Faith said. “There are a few of them that do, but there’s a lot of them that really don’t give a damn. It’s pretty weird that they’re screaming Black Lives Matter when … yeah.”

Now, as the story gained ground, several of Stassi‘s partnerships have dropped her from their brand, including razor brand Billie and Ritual vitamins.

See their statements inside now…

“We are ending all of our partnerships with anyone who isn’t supporting the fight against racism,” Billie wrote on Instagram, in response to a follower query about Stassi‘s behavior.

“We were not aware of her actions and realize that is unacceptable and part of our responsibility,” Ritual told Page Six. “We have ended our partnership with Stassi, and we are committed to doing more thorough diligence on all our brand partners going forward.”
