Joan Smalls and Chanel West Coast hit the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

Both of the ladies kept it short with their chic dresses for the fun evening full of great music and performances from today’s top artists.

Joan reunited with fellow models Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn at the awards show. They all appeared in Beyonce‘s video for “Yonce” and the singer did an amazing performance that evening to accept her Video Vanguard Award. See the pic of the ladies together below!

Nicki Minaj rocks a plunging neckline while hitting the press room at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 31-year-old rapper was joined by Jessie J, who performed with her on the opening number for the show.

Jimmy Fallon does a little dance on stage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 39-year-old television host was at the event to present the Video of the Year award to Miley Cyrus for her song “Wrecking Ball.”

After announcing the winner, Jimmy was surprised to see that Miley let a homeless man accept the award so he could speak about his situation and raise awareness for a good cause.

Beyonce looks beautiful while posing with her trophies in the press room backstage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 32-year-old entertainer took home four awards during the show – the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Best Collaboration for “Drunk in Love” with Jay Z, Best Video with a Social Message for “Pretty Hurts,” and Best Cinematography for “Pretty Hurts.”

Beyonce took to the stage for an epic performance of all the songs from her most recent album and completed the sixteen minute set by accepting the Video Vanguard Award from her daughter Blue Ivy and her husband.

Michelle Williams shows off her pearly whites with a big smile at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 34-year-old singer stunned showing off some leg in a spotted, black and white gown along with golden adorned heels.

Lucy Hale runs into good friend Miley Cyrus during the pre-show at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 25-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress traded in her carpet outfit for a hot Oscar de la Renta dress while pulling hostess duty at the pre-show for the annual event.

“Welllll that was fun. Dying over the Britney/justin jean combo that @katyperry revived. Thank u @mtv! Enjoy the show y’all,” she tweeted afterwards.

Lucy added, “Loved seeing this lady too ❤️ @mileycyrus.”

FYI: Lucy is also wearing a Renee Sheppard’s Pave Diamond Star cuff, PHYNE by Paige Novick earrings, and Brian Atwood pumps.

5 Seconds of Summer brings all the feelings with their live performance of “Amnesia” at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The guys — Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings — were introduced by The Maze Runner‘s Dylan O’Brien and If I Stay‘s Chloe Moretz.
