The 14-year-old actress honored the Parkland victims by wearing the names of the 17 people killed on the back of her denim outfit. She also opened up about the March For Our Lives during her speech.
“The March For Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and impacted us all in one way or another,” Millie said. “I’m fortunate to be here tonight receiving an award as an actor. I’m so very grateful and I appreciate the love and support of my fans and the opportunity that our show Stranger Things has created for me.”
“But, more than anything, I get to be up here and I’m privileged to have a voice that can be heard, one I can use to hopefully make a positive difference and help influence change,” Millie said while encouraging everyone to pass on the kindness in the room.
Later in the show, Millie was joined by Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink to accept the award for Favorite TV Show for Stranger Things.

The young actresses presented the first award of the night – Favorite TV Actress to Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown.
Storm can currently be seen on the big screen in A Wrinkle in Time while Hailee will next be seen in the Transformers spinoff movie Bumblebee.

The 40-year-old pro wrestler donned a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onesie as he arrived on the orange carpet held at The Forum on Saturday (March 24) in Inglewood, Calif.
John – who is hosting the event tonight – dressed as a member of the TMNT to promote his upcoming new Nick show Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where he will be playing villain Baron Draxum.

The 18-year-old Grown-ish actress attended the KCAs after speaking earlier in the day at the March For Our Lives in Los Angeles.
