Andrew Haigh has another big production on the way.

The acclaimed filmmaker, responsible for Weekend and Lean on Pete, is set to kick off production on his next feature film called Strangers, and there are four big stars joining the cast, including The Crown‘s Claire Foy.

Here’s a plot summary, via Variety: Strangers “follows screenwriter Adam who, one night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where he discovers that his long-dead parents are both living and look the same age as the day they died over 30 years ago.”

Claire will play Adam’s mother in the movie.

Dakota Fanning makes a funny face while getting ready to shoot new scenes for Ripley in Venice, Italy, on Friday afternoon (February 11).

The 27-year-old actress, who carried a plaid suitcase with her in some scenes, was joined by Andrew Scott on the set, who was seen off to the side, keeping warm in a puffy coat.

Later on in the day, Andrew was spotted catching a ferry with a briefcase in hand while filming for the upcoming series.

Just the night before, Dakota was seen on a gondola ride with Andrew‘s body double.

Based on Patricia Highsmith’s quintet of Tom Ripley novels, the drama will follow Tom Ripley, a grifter who is hired by a wealthy businessman to travel to Italy and convince his son to return home.

Dakota plays Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects that Tom’s affability hides darker motives, while Andrew stars in the title role.

The 27-year-old actress and the Fleabag actor were spotted filming scenes for Ripley in Venice, Italy on Tuesday (February 1).

Based on Patricia Highsmith’s quintet of Tom Ripley novels, the drama will follow Tom Ripley, a grifter who is hired by a wealthy businessman to travel to Italy and convince his son to return home.

Dakota plays Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects that Tom’s affability hides darker motives, while Andrew stars in the title role.

The pair were also seen on set late last January and Andrew was photographed wearing his costume during a break from filming earlier that month.

Andrew Scott is hanging out with his ex-boyfriend again!

The 45-year-old Fleabag actor enjoyed an afternoon of sightseeing with writer Stephen Beresford on Sunday (January 23) in Venice, Italy.

Andrew bundled up in a navy puffer jacket and black beanie while Stephen, 50, sported a black and gray plaid coat while they walked around Venice together.

During their outing, Andrew was spotted snapping a few photos of Stephen before the stopped by a restaurant for a bite to eat.

If you didn’t know, Andrew and Stephen were together for over a decade before Andrew revealed in an interview in 2019 that they had broken up.

Andrew will star in the title role in the adaptation, while Dakota is playing Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects that Tom’s affability hides darker motives.

Andrew Scott wears a sharp fedora while in character as he films scenes for his upcoming Showtime series, Ripley, in Venice, Italy on Tuesday (January 11).

The 45-year-old actor will star in the show in the title role. Andrew was also seen wearing a clear face shield while walking in the Floating City with some co-stars.

He also snapped some pics of the sights during the little breaks from filming.

Here’s a summary of the series: “Ripley centers on Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York. The 38-year-old Blue Crush actress and the 44-year-old Fleabag actor were both in attendance for the event on Monday (June 21) in Milan, Italy.

Also in attendance at the show were Adrien Brody, Jack Huston, and designer Roberta Armani.
