Chris Evans Says Marlon Brando Should Have Been Jailed for 'Last Tango in Paris' Rape Scene

Chris Evans is disgusted and enraged by the revelation that the late actress Maria Schneider was raped on camera without consent for a scene in the 1972 movie Last Tango in Paris.

The movie’s director, Bernardo Bertolucci, says that he and actor Marlon Brando conspired to shoot the scene and get Maria‘s “reaction as a girl, not as an actress.”

“Wow. I will never look at this film, Bertolucci or Brando the same way again. This is beyond disgusting. I feel rage,” Chris tweeted after reading the story.

Anna Kendrick also got involved in the conversation and she said she’s been telling people about this for years, but no one seemed to care before.

Anna Kendrick Reveals the 'Shameful' Truth About 'Up in the Air' Press Tour

Anna Kendrick is perfectly pink in a Celine top on the cover of Flare magazine’s Winter 2016 issue, provided exclusively to Just Jared.

Here’s what the 31-year-old Trolls star had to share with the mag:

On telling people how many people you’ve had sex with: “When you’re 22, it feels like there’s an ideal you’re supposed to aspire to, but nobody will tell you what it is. It’s completely arbitrary, and some people are going to think it’s the right thing and some people are going to think it’s the wrong thing.”

On Twitter vs Instagram: “There are so many people who are in the business of being outraged…Twitter just has a more negative energy [than Instagram], which I feel more at home in.”

On the bad Up in the Air press tour: “I didn’t want to write the stuff about Up in the Air. It felt like this shameful thing…Having to take any dark and strange parts of my personality and shove them down for a few months—it made me crazy. I was worried I was going to let people down if I ever acted like me.”

Anna Kendrick Couldn't Afford Shoes to Wear to Her First Oscars

Anna Kendrick shows off her gorgeous tulle dress while making an appearance on The Tonight Show on Friday (October 28) in New York City.

While promoting her memoir Scrappy Little Nobody, the 31-year-old actress revealed that she couldn’t afford shoes for her first Oscars in 2009.

“My stylist told me I had to wear the perfect shoes for an outfit, and because the movie isn’t out yet, nobody really knows who you are. ‘The shoe places don’t want to loan you the shoes so can you buy a pair?’” she explained on The Ellen Show.

Anna added, “I was like, ‘I’m still poor.’ So it was this weird combination of like all these great things are happening but at the same time nothing has changed so, it was a weird dichotomy.”

FYI: Anna is wearing a Jonathan Cohen dress.
