It was just announced that the 48-year-old actress will be making her return to the stage this Fall in a new play written by actress Amanda Peet!

SJP will star alongside Blythe Danner as a mother-daughter duo in The Commons of Penascola, which is about trying to love your family even when you hate what they’ve done.

The play will begin performances off-Broadway at Manhattan Theater Club’s New York City Center – Stage 1 on October 22.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival Awards Ceremony on Thursday (April 25) at the Conrad in New York City.

The ladies were joined at the event by Jason O’Mara, Ari Graynor, Radha Mitchell, Mira Sorvino, Whoopi Goldberg, Blythe Danner, and festival founder Robert De Niro.

The Founders Award for Best Narrative went to The Rocket and the award for Best Narrative Short went to director Edoardo Ponti for his film The Nightshift Belongs to the Stars.

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson meet up with political activist Elie Wiesel at the 2012 Arts for Humanity Gala held at the New York Public Library on Wednesday (October 17) in New York City.

The 56-year-old actor was honored by The Elie Wiesel Foundation at the event and joked that he still had some overdue books from 1977 that he needed to turn in to the library.

Tom‘s son Colin Hanks, Blythe Danner, and Christiane Amanpour also attended the event.
