Gwyneth Paltrow and her mom, actress Blythe Danner, smile for a photo together at the Baby Buggy Summer Dinner on Saturday (July 30) in East Hampton, New York.

At the event, hosted by designer Reed Krakoff, the 38-year-old actress showed support for Baby Buggy, which provides families in need across the country with clothing and essentials for infants and young children.

The 37-year-old Oscar winner shared what it was like to shoot Iron Man 2. She told Harper’s Bazaar, “Iron Man was heaven. The kids could come every day. They had their mini Jeep they drove around the parking lot in front of my trailer. I wasn’t naked or crying like on the Nashville movie, where it was like, ‘No, you can’t visit Mommy today.’ This was a much different thing. But professionally, I did feel so ‘Oh, my God, yes, this is what I do. You know, this is me.’”

She wrote, “Some of the best memories I have from childhood are of my mother lying in bed with me and reading me stories. I can remember way back when books like ‘Pat the Bunny’ and ‘Goodnight Moon’ were appropriate, so we’re talking decades. We had a few greatest hits, ‘Elouise’ and ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ being frontrunners. That time together was pretty indelible. I’m always looking for great books I may not know about to read to my kids. We’ve put together some recommendations that are worth checking out.”
