Anthony Mackie and Danny Ramirez reunite on the set of Captain America: New World Order on Wednesday (May 2) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The movie will mark the first with Anthony as Captain America. He picked up the shield and assumed the title in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

That’s also when Danny made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe playing Joaquin Torres. He worked in tandem with Anthony in the series and is stepping up to become the Falcon this time around.

The first photos from the Captain America: New World Order set are finally here as the film begins production!

The photos feature Anthony Mackie in his return to the MCU as Sam Wilson/Captain America and they were taken on Tuesday (March 21) in Atlanta, Georgia. We’ve also included shots of the set.

The film is expected to be released in theaters in May 2024. The plot is being largely kept under wraps, but this is considered the fourth film in the Captain America franchise. Stay tuned as we learn a lot more over the coming weeks!

There’s an exciting addition to the cast of the upcoming movie Captain America: New World Order, which will mark Anthony Mackie‘s first film in the title role.

Xosha Roquemore, best known for her work in The Mindy Project and the movie Precious, will be playing a “key role” in the Marvel movie, according to Deadline.

No details are known about her character and Marvel had no comment on the casting news.

Not much is known about the movie other than Anthony‘s Sam Wilson taking over as Captain America following his graduation into the role in Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Also starring in the movie are Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly and Shira Haas. The movie will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

The new Captain America movie is going to be directed by The Cloverfield Paradox‘s Julius Onah with Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman writing the script with Dalan Musson, who also worked on the series.

During the Marvel panel at D23, it was confirmed that three former Marvel stars will reprise their roles in the movie and one new actor is being added to the MCU.

The new Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law revealed some major info about Captain America and the mystery surrounding his virginity!

In an end credits scene that follows the first episode, which debuted on Thursday (August 18), Tatiana Maslany‘s character She-Hulk has a conversation with Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk about what a shame that “America’s ass” (Captain America) died a virgin.

During the chat, Hulk reveals that Steve Rogers wasn’t a virgin and he dished the details on when he lost his virginity.
