Fan Bingbing is going glam for Paris Fashion Week!

The 41-year-old Chinese actress looked stunning a gold sparkling and teal feathered-covered coat as she stepped out for the Giambattista Valli Fashion Show on Friday (March 3) in Paris, France.

Fellow stars in attendance included Ciara, actress and Dance Moms alum Maddie Ziegler, fashion editor Derek Blasberg, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, fashion influencer Olivia Palermo and model husband Johannes Huebl, French fashion billionaire François-Henri Pinault, and Outer Banks actress Madison Bailey.

Fan Bingbing is back on the global stage for her first major appearance in years.

The 41-year-old Chinese actress stepped out for the press conference and premiere for her new film Green Night at the 2023 Berlinale International Film Festival on Thursday (February 23) at Zoo Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The Green Night premiere marks Fan‘s first appearance to promote a major film since she was involved in a tax evasion scandal back in 2018. She was held under house arrest while tax authorities investigated her records. She was eventually fined $70 million.

Fan, best known to American audiences for her work in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Iron Man 3, was most recently seen in the spy thriller The 355 alongside Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger, Penelope Cruz, and Lupita Nyong’o.

While at the Berlin press conference, Fan responded to a question about the scandal despite the moderator’s attempt to move on.

Jessica Chastian has some cuts and bruises on her face from a previous fight in the brand new trailer for The 355.

The action packed trailer features Jessica, alongside Diane Kruger, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, and Fan Bingbing, showing off their fighting skills.

Here’s a summary: When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown (Chastain) will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie (Kruger), former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Nyong’o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Cruz) on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one-step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Fan), who is tracking their every move.

Also starring Edgar Ramirez and Sebastian Stan, The 355 is expected to hit theaters on January 7, 2022.

All five female stars, who are owners of the film, will be getting a portion of the movie’s profits.

Universal’s ensemble female-driven spy thriller 355, starring Jessica Chastain and Lupita Nyong’o, has an official release date!

The film will be released on January 15, 2021 and will also star Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger and Fan Bingbing.

Here’s a synopsis, according to Variety: The movie follows a group of spies from international agencies around the world. These women must bond together, overcoming their suspicions and conflicts, to stop an event from occurring that could thrust the world into chaos.

Fan Bingbing disappeared from the public eye for four months last year and it was later revealed that she was involved in a tax evasion scandal in China.

The Chinese actress was held under house arrest while tax authorities investigated her records. She was eventually fined $70 million.

“It may be a trough I encountered in my life or in my work, but this trough is actually a good thing,” Fan told The New York Times in a new interview. “It has made me calm down and think seriously about what I want to do in my future life.”

She added, “No one can have smooth sailing throughout the journey.”

China’s highest paid actress Fan Bingbing and her fiance, Li Chen, have split up.

The 37-year-old actress confirmed the news on her Weibo account. If you don’t know, Weibo is China’s version of a Twitter-style social media site.

“In one’s lifetime, there are always a lot of parting and goodbyes,” the post read, translated to English. “Thank you for everything you have given [me] – the support and love – along the way. We will not be an ‘us’ any more, but we are still us.”

If you don’t know, it has been a rocky couple of months for the actress, who reportedly owed to $128 million in back taxes, fees, and additional fines. She disappeared from the public eye for several months and it’s rumored she was in “residential detention.” She previously broke her silence on her alleged crime.
